Mr. Shepherd has had an impresive career so far! From his Bio, it states that Lewis Shepherd is currently (Senior Executive Service / Defense Intelligence Senior Level) the DIA Senior Technical Officer and Chief, Requirements & Research Group (R²). It further states that Lewis Shepherd leads R&D (research and development) for next generation
technological solutions for the Defense Intelligence enterprise comprising DIA and the Department of Defense Intelligence Community.

Very cool! Can you imagine if other IC execs did the same thing? How’s that for being open? Way to go Mr. Shepherd! Now, all he needs is a public blog! :)

Office of Force Transformation’s work to move across OSD

 The Pentagon’s Office of Force Transformation is going away after Oct. 1, but the ideas created from the think-tank agency will be integrated across the Office of the Secretary of Defense.
