Boeing says my plane's better than yours

Boeing says competitor's tanker is more vulnerable to attack - Wichita Business Journal:

Friday, Boeing said the Airbus tanker "is less survivable and more vulnerable to attack than the Boeing KC-767 advanced tanker."
I wonder how they came to that conclusion. Did they buy one and try to shoot it down?

Rumsfeld resigns as secretary of defense or Is this a sign?

Rumsfeld Resigns!

Can you believe it? Or did you see it coming? (Speculation alert!) I guess that since the Democrats are winning the elections, President Bush is trying to clean house in preparation to possibly do some drastic with the war in Iraq.

BTW, I thought this quote was interesting:

Asked whether Rumsfeld's departure signaled a new direction in a war that has claimed the lives of more than 2,800 U.S. troops and cost more than $300 billion, Bush said, "Well, there's certainly going to be new leadership at the Pentagon."

I really think this is President Bush's way of saying "Yes."  What do you think?

Bush acknowledges Iraq-Vietnam war comparison or What the? or This cannot be a good thing...

I felt chills when I saw this headline on Yahoo. Why? Because the US didn't really win the Vietnam War... (At least, that's from what I have read and seen in the movies. I was too young to know the difference and haven't really been a history buff...so anyone please feel free to correct me...)

What do you think? Why did the President say it? What good would it do to compare the Iraq and Vietnam wars?
